This shelf leans necklaces and earrings, with a few rings, some pendants and one bracelet. Sapphire in blue and in white, opal, ruby, emerald, turquoise, tanzanite, tourmaline, garnet, citrine, amethyst, spinel, moonstone, peridot, aquamarine, and a good run of white topaz. Some pieces lead with the stone. Others use it as a quiet bit of color sitting next to diamonds.
A straight note on the stones. Most ruby and sapphire in fine jewelry is heat-treated to bring out color, and emerald is commonly given a trace of oil for clarity. Both are standard, permanent practice across the industry, not something anyone is hiding. We would rather say it plainly than let you assume otherwise.
Opal is the one that fights us. It photographs badly and looks incredible in person, which is why those get shot on video while we quietly apologize to the camera. Every piece bought here gets free annual cleaning and a look at the setting. Not in Kelowna? Text us the color you keep coming back to, and a real person answers, usually with more photos than you asked for.
