Stackable Rings

Start a stack, blame us later. Diamond bands, plain golds, curved shapes and color that plays well together. Start with one. See what happens.

Stacking Bands and Ring Stacks, Built to Mix

There is a tray in our Kelowna case that people hover over longer than anywhere else in the store. It is the stacking tray: bands in every metal, width and shape, made to be tried in combinations until something clicks. This page is its online cousin.

Mix metals on purpose. Put a diamond band between two plain ones. Slide a curved band against your engagement ring so everything sits flush. There are no stacking rules that survive contact with a good mirror, so trust yours.

Fair warning, though: nobody in the history of stacking rings has stopped at one. That is not a sales line. It is physics.

Questions we actually get

Straight answers from the people on the floor

How do you stack rings with an engagement ring?

Keep the engagement ring as the centerpiece and build around it. A slim band on either side frames the center stone without fighting it, and a curved or contoured band hugs a solitaire so there is no gap. Match your engagement ring's metal for a classic look, or mix metals deliberately so it reads as styled rather than mismatched.

What is a stackable ring?

A stackable ring is a band designed to be worn in combination with others on the same finger: slim enough to share space, with a profile that sits flat against its neighbors. Diamond bands, plain golds and gemstone bands all qualify. One works alone. The habit tends to start at two.

How do I keep stacked rings from spinning?

Spinning usually means a ring is a half size too big or top-heavy. Wearing two or three bands together tightens the fit and stops most spin on its own. For a single spinner, our goldsmith can add small sizing beads inside the band, a quick fix that holds the ring steady without changing the size.

Can I get a stacking ring made to order?

Yes. Many stacking designs can be made to order in your size, metal and stone choice, typically in 10 to 15 days. Message us the band you are looking at and what you would change, and we will confirm timing and price before anything starts.
