Stud Earrings

The first diamond most people ever own. Diamond studs are where most people start with diamonds, and plenty never see a reason to stop. Natural and lab grown, both clearly labeled, from everyday pairs to four carats of commitment.

Diamond Stud Earrings, Natural and Lab Grown

Diamond studs have outlived every trend that promised to replace them. They rode out the 80s, survived the stacked-lobe years, and they will be fine with whatever 2027 tries next. That is the whole point of a stud: one pair, worn a hundred ways, wrong basically never.

Ours run from a third of a carat to four carats total weight in yellow and white gold, natural and lab grown, with origin labeled plainly on every pair because guessing games are not our thing.

Stuck between two sizes? The honest answer is in the questions below, and there is a human on the other end of the text button if you want to talk it through with someone who fits studs on real ears all day.

Questions we actually get

Straight answers from the people on the floor

What size diamond studs should I get?

For everyday wear, most people land between a third of a carat and one carat total weight, which reads as polish without shouting. Two carats total and up becomes an occasion pair. If you are between sizes, go smaller for daily wear and bigger if the studs are the outfit. One tip worth knowing: total carat weight counts both ears combined, and that is the number stores quote.

Does diamond quality matter as much for stud earrings?

Less than it does for a ring. Studs are seen from a few feet away against skin, not held up to the light, so near-colorless grades and eye-clean clarity look identical on the ear to far pricier stones. Put the budget into size or cut instead; cut is what makes studs catch light across a room.

Should I choose natural or lab grown diamond studs?

Both are real diamonds, and at Perrara this is an option, not a religion. Lab grown gives you a larger stone for the same spend and is usually ready to go. Natural carries rarity and a long history. We stock both, label both clearly, and will walk you through the honest trade-offs without pushing either way.

How do I clean diamond stud earrings?

Warm water, a drop of dish soap and a soft brush at home, then a proper clean once a year. If you bought them at Perrara, that annual cleaning, polish and check-up is free. Diamonds pick up skin oils faster than most stones, which is why studs go dull first and why a five-minute clean makes them look new again.
