Every lab grown stone here comes with an IGI report, and most are laser inscribed on the girdle, so the number on the paper is on the diamond too. Clarity runs VVS to VS, colour is mostly E and F with a few D, and sizes start at a carat and a half and go past five. That last part is where lab grown changes the conversation: the stone you pictured and the stone you can afford stop being two different stones.
What lab grown is: a diamond, by chemistry and by hardness, graded on the same scale as a mined one. What it is not: rare. Its price has moved a long way in a few years, which matters if you think of a diamond as an investment and not at all if you think of it as a diamond. There is no right answer here, only the one that is right for you and your person, and we will give you the honest version of both in the store or over text.
The shapes on this page run round brilliant, oval, radiant, marquise, emerald cut, cushion, elongated cushion, princess and pear, most of them over two carats, so this is where the big-look shapes live. Text us the shape and size and we will send the IGI report and a photo of the actual stone, then set it in any setting on the site or build around it here in Kelowna.
