Your setting, your stone
Most of our engagement rings are settings. Try them on, find the one, then choose the center stone with us, natural or lab grown. Online, those two can't meet. In the store, they do.
A designer's ring, made yours
Tacori and Noam Carver will change their designs to add your personal touch, and they don't charge extra for it. The Tacori at the top of this page was customized with pink sapphires in the hidden halo. Designer made to order takes about 4 to 5 weeks.
Designed from scratch
Have a ring in your head that doesn't exist yet? Bring the Pinterest board. We'll design it together: a custom piece that no one else will ever have.
Stone Sourcing
We'll find your stone
We love sourcing stones that are special to the client, and we have the contacts for it: natural diamonds, fancy color and gemstones. Tell us what you're picturing.
Natural or lab grown? There is no right or wrong here, just what is best for you and your beloved. Lab grown is simply another option.
Working to a budget? Say so. We can flex the carat weight, the clarity and color, or the metal, and keep you on track. It's what we do, and we do it really well!

Come in and try things on
Appointments are private and booked ahead. Bring your ideas, try on lots of rings and tell us your budget. We'll measure your size and keep a list of your favourites.
Then
Drawings and stones
We turn the idea into drawings or a CAD rendering, make the changes you ask for, and choose the stones together.
Last
Made, then yours
Once the design is set, allow 4 to 6 weeks for the ring to be made. Starting from scratch takes longer than starting from a sample, so leave yourself time. On a deadline? Tell us and we'll do our best to rush it.

Asked at the counter
Does a custom engagement ring cost more?
Not necessarily. The price mostly comes down to the carat weight of the center diamond and any extra diamonds, like pavé or side stones. Tacori and Noam Carver don't charge extra to customize their designs.
Custom or ready made: which is better?
Neither is better. It depends on what you want and when you need it. A ready to go ring has no order time and can be worn the same day. A custom ring lets you control every element, and it takes weeks. We can brainstorm together to select something that is ready to go, or work on designing a custom piece.
What is the difference between custom and semi custom?
Semi custom starts from a ring that already exists: you pick a setting or a designer's design and change the metal, the stone or the details. Fully custom starts from scratch, with drawings, and takes longer. A lot of what we do sits in the first group.
How long does it take?
A designer setting made to order takes about 4 to 5 weeks, depending on the design house. A ring designed from scratch takes longer: allow time for drawings and changes, then 4 to 6 weeks to make it. If you have a date in mind, tell us first.
Natural or lab grown?
Either one. Both are diamonds, and we sell both. We'll put actual stones side by side and you choose.
How do special orders and deposits work?
Special orders and deposits are non-refundable. That said, we work diligently to make sure you're happy, so if that means a remake or a change after the fact, we do what we can.
The ring I loved sold. Can you make it again?
A designer setting or band, yes, we can order it again. A one-of-a-kind ring with a natural center stone can't be repeated exactly, because that stone is gone. We can design something similar around a new one.
