Twist

A twist setting does what the name says: instead of one flat band, the metal splits into strands that wind together and carry that motion up to the base of the center stone. This is a small shelf, a handful of pieces rather than a wide browse, so come to it knowing exactly what you are getting: a specific look, done well, not a large selection to page through.

Every setting on this shelf works the same way: the twist is already built into the band, and the center stone is chosen separately, with us, natural or lab grown, once you know the design you love. Metal runs yellow and white gold across what is here. No stone is picked yet on any of these, which is exactly as it should be. That decision is the one that is actually yours.

A twist carries more metalwork than a plain band, so the free yearly clean-and-check that comes with anything bought here simply has a bit more to run over. Nobody buys a twist by accident. You saw the way it moved, and that was that.
