What We Do

Jewelry repair
Broken chains and clasps, worn prongs, loose stones, tired settings. Pieces bought anywhere are welcome.

Ring sizing
Our goldsmith sizes it properly. Some metals, like tantalum, can't be resized, so ask us first and we'll tell you plainly.

Watch repair, the big jobs
We take on the bigger watch repairs. Bring it in and we'll take a look.
Who Does The Work
The best hands, not the nearest
We chose the best hands over the nearest ones. Every repair and every sizing goes to our master goldsmith's bench, and comes back to the store done right.
Most repairs are back in about two weeks. Have a date in mind? Tell us first and we'll plan around it.
Bought It Here?
Then the yearly care is on us
Cleaning, polish, a setting check and rhodium. Once a year. Free.
It applies to every piece bought at Perrara, for as long as you own it. Rings work hard. Once a year, let us return the favour.

Show us
Bring the piece in, or text us a photo. We'll tell you whether it can be fixed and whether it is worth fixing.
Then
A quote, before anything
Sizing or a chain repair, we can quote on the spot. Anything bigger, you get the cost and timing first, and nothing starts until you say yes.
Last
Back on your hand
The goldsmith does the work, we check it, and it comes back to the store for you to pick up.

Do you repair jewelry that wasn't bought at Perrara?
Yes. We accept outside work, so bring in a piece from anywhere and we'll look at it.
Who does the repair work?
A master goldsmith we keep on call. You drop off and pick up at the store, and the work happens at the goldsmith's bench, offsite. We chose the best hands over the nearest ones.
Can any ring be resized?
Most gold and platinum rings can. Some metals cannot: tantalum, ceramic and carbon bands generally can't be resized. Ask us before you buy and we'll tell you plainly.
Do you replace watch batteries?
No. We take on larger watch repairs only, not batteries or pins.
Do you buy gold or take trade-ins?
Not at Perrara. We sell new jewelry only. To sell gold or trade a piece in, head to the Canadian Jewelry Exchange at cjex.net.
Do you do appraisals?
Every piece you buy from us comes with a complimentary appraisal. We don't appraise jewelry bought elsewhere.
What care is free with a piece bought at Perrara?
